Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce, or tamari
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha, or to taste
  • 2 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 small cabbage, shredded
  • 1 medium carrot, shredded
  • 1/3 cup broth or water
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2-3 green onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and ground pork. Cook the pork until browned and cooked through.
  2. Add the onions, garlic, and ginger to the pan. Stir well, and cook until softened and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add sesame oil, soy sauce, Sriracha, and rice vinegar, and stir well.
  4. Add cabbage and carrot, and broth. Stir to coat. Cook, stirring regularly, for 5 minutes, until slightly softened. If you'd like more tender cabbage, cook 5 minutes more.
  5. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo's, it took about roughly 10 Oreo cookies

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line baking sheets with silicone baking mats or parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies until they're fine crumbs. Set aside.
  3. In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together the butter and cream cheese until smooth and well combined.
  4. Add the sugar and vanilla extract and beat until well incorporated.
  5. Gently mix in the flour and stir in the chocolate chips with a spatula.
  6. Using a medium sized cookie scoop, scoop the dough and put it in your hands to roll it into a ball. Roll the ball in the Oreo crumbs and cover the dough well.
  7. Place on cookie sheet and repeat until all the dough has been used up.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes (I had to bake mine for longer because my balls were a lot bigger so it took 20 minutes to bake).
  9. Remove from oven when you see that the edges are getting browned. Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes then transfer to cool completely on a wire rack.
  10. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

  • For cinnamon streusel crumb:
  • 1 and 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup butter -melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 large (or 2 small) tart apples-peeled and chopped
  • For the cake:
  • 4 Tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Apple cider glaze:
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 – 2 Tablespoons apple cider

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease 8 inch springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper, set aside.
  2. To make cinnamon streusel crumb, first in a bowl, whisk together dry ingredient. Then add melted butter and vanilla and stir until the mixture is evenly moist, set aside, too.
  3. To make the cake in a large bowl, cream together 4 tbsp butter with 1/2 cup sugar until light and fluffy, then add egg and beat well. Finally, add vanilla and sour cream and beat again.
  4. In another bowl, stir together 1 cup flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder and add to the butter mixture, stir until just combined.
  5. Spread half the batter at the bottom of the pan ( it will be very thin layer). Spread the apple chunks evenly over the batter, then sprinkle about 1 cup of the cinnamon streusel crumbs over the apples. Spread the remaining batter over the crumbs and on top spread the rest of the cinnamon streusel.
  6. Bake 35-40 minutes or until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Before remove the ring of springform pan run a thin knife around the cake.
  8. To make the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar with apple cider and drizzle over the cake.

  • 1 5 lb roasting chicken
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Quarter one onion and place in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Rinse chicken and pat dry.
  3. Rub the olive oil all over the chicken.
  4. In a small bowl mix paprika, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and thyme.
  5. Rub spice mixture all over chicken including inside ( I use latex gloves lol).
  6. Sprinkle with pepper.
  7. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 7 hours.

  • 3 fresh artichokes
  • 2 large fresh lemons, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter)
  • 6 cloves garlic, peeled and roughly-chopped
  • fresh rosemary (plus additional fresh thyme, oregano, or sage, if you’d like)
  • coarse sea salt and freshly-cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F.
  2. Use a knife to slice off the bottom 1/2-inch (or more, if you’d like) of the artichoke stems, and the top 1 inch of the artichoke globes (the leaves on top). Remove and discard any small leaves toward the bottoms of the stems. Rinse the artichokes with water.
  3. Slice the artichokes in half vertically. Use a spoon to scoop out the fuzzy “choke” in the middle of the artichoke. Then use kitchen shears to trim about 1/4/-inch off the pointy tips of each of the artichoke leaves (so that they don’t poke you when you eat them). Rub a lemon wedge all over the entire surface of each artichoke half, to prevent browning.
  4. Place the artichoke halves in a baking dish or on a baking sheet cut-side-up. Brush the cut sides of the artichokes evenly with the olive oil. Then fill the cavities evenly with the garlic, followed by a few small sprigs of the fresh herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Flip the artichokes over, using the herbs to help hold in the garlic, so that they are cut-side-down. Brush the tops of the artichokes with oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes. Then remove and cover the pan with aluminum foil, and bake for an additional 25-35 minutes, or until the artichokes are tender and the leaves pull off easily.
  7. Place the tray on a cooling rack. Carefully remove, discard the herbs (or stir them into your dipping sauce for extra flavor), and drizzle the artichokes with extra lemon juice.
  8. Serve the roasted artichokes warm with your desired dipping sauce.

Instructions

  1. Add rice, water, enchilada sauce, black beans, cumin, salt, pepper and garlic powder to the Instant Pot. Don’t stir. Just layer the ingredients. Cover and turn valve to “sealing.” Press the manual button and set timer to 22 minutes. When timer beeps let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes and then move the valve to “venting.”
  2. Remove the lid and stir in the lime juice and cheddar. Salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Serve rice topped with diced avocado, sour cream, lime wedge and cilantro.

  • 6 cups torn romaine lettuce

  • 4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 1 Tablespoon barbecue sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Then rinse pasta under cold water.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the romaine lettuce, tomato, bacon and pasta.
  3. Drizzle the ranch dressing and barbecue sauce over the top. Gently toss to coat evenly. Season with pepper. Serve immediately and enjoy!
